The hotel is luxurious, has very sympathetic staff and splendid lake views. The rooms are generous sized and brand-new, the beds are comfy. A bathroom is equipped with a bathtub...

Quaint hotel, MAGNIFICENT location all subtly around various common areas in the building and with lovely views. Spotlessly clean room and large bathroom with hairdryers and soft bathrobes.
Beds were too big.

No complaint and will come back. The breakfast itself is delicious and amazing with juices, the pre-cooked scrambled eggs, stunning view. The service is very good, includes easy to access parking.

Very peaceful, in that it is just on the outskirts of the town of Bled, which is overrun by tourists for the most part.
Just a minor thing, and it has to do with the location. Depending on the time of day, it may be necessary to get back into town to get to a restaurant, which means having to take the car. Parking in Bled is a challenge to say the least. Can't have it both ways. If we had the means at our disposal, taking along a pair of bikes would have been the absolute best answer to that problem. For most people though, walking into Bled would probably be doable, just a little too far for my wife and I.

This is an excellent location with views of the island in a park. Very comfortable bed and quiet room. We stayed in a suite, so large and comfortable bathroom. In the morning the radiator was on in the bathroom. Parking of the hotel is comfortable and is included in the price. Excellent breakfast, varied and with quality products. Perhaps for Italians with a less offers for sweets.Using pier / beach is also included in the price of the hotel, with umbrellas, sun beds and towels as well as using a small rowing boat. There is the Garden village during five minutes walk from the hotel. A place to see and a restaurant to try.
At the reception, with courteous staff, however, we were not given completed and correct directions for a visit to the castle.

We have stayed in over 70 paradors in Spain and they know how to run historic places. By contrast we felt that the staff thought that we should be grateful just to be there. One of the mattresses in our twin bed was adjustable hard/soft and failed and we were told that it couldn't be replaced until the next morning when we were about to check out. The food was very pretty but not Slovenian - you didn't know if you were in Paris, New York or London.

Genius loci of the place. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Excelent food and service in the restaurant. Large rooms.
We missed air-conditioning in one of our two rooms. The bath in the same room was pretty raffish.

Good location on lake. Quiet position away from traffic. Good size rooms and good facilities. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Restaurant prices for dinner and wines too high. Very few people in restaurant.

The historic background of the house, given it was one of Tito's summer residences. Vila Bled was luxurious yet comfortable. The views were breathtaking. The service was excellent. We were able to upgrade to a lake view room.

private beach access, complimentary rowboat rentals, engaging historical tour opportunities
Lack of air conditioning made the rooms uncomfortably warm!!! Refurbishment of outdated facilities and decor is overdue!!! Clearer communication about available amenities would greatly enhance the experience!!!

Beautiful views from balcony. High standards of service. Excellent food. Comfortable spacious rooms. Availability of rowing boats and bikes.
Couldn't have dinner at hotel on first night because of a formal dinner being held - however this gave us the opportunity to try a different restaurant.

We were married at the Vila Bled 10 years ago and it has a special place in our hearts. Always wonderful to return. We do so every year.
